About this package
Shodhana Chikitsa is a traditional Ayurvedic body purification program designed to eliminate accumulated toxins and restore internal balance through classical Panchakarma-based therapies. The first step in the program is completing a mandatory Preliminary Assessment Form (PAF), which helps the Vaidya evaluate the individual's health condition and determine the most appropriate treatment protocol and duration. The program begins with Poorvakarma, the preparatory phase, where the body is gently prepared through Snehanam (internal oleation with medicated ghee) and Swedanam (herbal steam therapy). Patients undergo internal cleansing with medicated ghee for a minimum of 3 days, helping mobilize deep-seated toxins from the tissues for effective elimination. This is followed by Pradhanakarma, the primary purification phase, during which Panchakarma procedures such as Virechana (controlled purgation), medicated enemas, and other cleansing therapies may be administered as recommended by the Vaidya to support physiological balance. Note: The current package pricing is based on Rasayana Suites (Single Occupancy). An upgraded accommodation option, Waterfront Rasayana Suites, is available at approximately ₹11,45,000. The duration ranges from 14 to 28 days, with a minimum of 21 days recommended for optimal results, depending on individual assessment and physician recommendation.

About Kalari Rasayana-CGH Earth Ayurveda
Established in 2012, Kalari Rasayana is a NABH-accredited luxury Ayurveda hospital by CGH Earth Ayurveda, located on the peaceful shores of Paravoor Lake in South Kerala. Set across 8 acres of coconut groves and backwaters, the retreat offers authentic Ayurvedic care in a serene healing environment. Inspired by the Ayurvedic concept of Rasayana—the science of rejuvenation, vitality, and healthy ageing—Kalari Rasayana focuses on addressing the root causes of imbalance through personalised treatment programmes. Each guest undergoes a detailed consultation with experienced Ayurveda physicians, who assess physical, psychological, emotional, and lifestyle factors before designing an individualised plan. Programmes combine traditional Panchakarma therapies with yoga, meditation, sattvic cuisine, and lifestyle guidance. Treatments begin from 14 days and may extend to 28 days or longer, depending on individual health needs and medical recommendations. A structured daily routine of therapies, yoga, meditation, wellness consultations, and cultural wellness experiences further supports the healing process throughout the stay. To ensure focused care, Kalari Rasayana accommodates a maximum of 25 resident guests and is supported by a team of 5 Ayurveda doctors, 3 yoga gurus, and experienced therapists. The retreat features 11 therapy rooms and 22 accommodations, including 3 Waterfront Rasayana Suites overlooking the lake and 19 spacious Rasayana Suites, one of which is wheelchair accessible. Temperatures typically range from 23°C to 32°C throughout the year. The monsoon season from June to September is especially valued in Ayurveda, as the cool, humid climate is considered ideal for detoxification and rejuvenation therapies.
