About this package

At Apollo AyurVAID, treatment begins with a detailed consultation with an Ayurvedic physician (Vaidya). The consultation includes a thorough medical history (Prashna), review of relevant medical reports such as X-rays, MRIs and blood tests, and traditional Ayurvedic assessment including Nadi Pariksha (pulse examination) to understand your Prakriti and Vikriti. Based on the assessment, Vaidya prepares a personalized treatment plan covering recommended therapies, dietary changes and Ayurvedic medicines, where appropriate. Consultation is available through in-person OPD/daycare, IPD (in-patient) care and teleconsultation. Where a structured treatment program is advised, the doctor determines the appropriate duration—typically 7, 14 or 21 days—based on the individual's condition and treatment needs. Note: Consultation fees vary based on the seniority of the consulting Ayurvedic physician and the specific Apollo AyurVAID branch.

Founded in Bangalore in 2005 by Rajiv Vasudevan, AyurVAID is now part of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd. Its flagship Domlur centre in Bengaluru was India’s first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital, a milestone that reflects Apollo AyurVAID focus on clinical quality, safety and standardised care. The organisation has since expanded to 15 centres across India and has served more than 4 lakh patients. Apollo AyurVAID specialises in the management of chronic and complex health conditions, using personalised treatment protocols across areas including musculoskeletal and pain conditions, neurological disorders, metabolic and lifestyle conditions, digestive health, rehabilitation and women’s health. Its approach includes Precision Panchakarma, Ayurveda-based medical care and integrative rehabilitation, with treatment plans tailored to individual clinical needs. The organisation also works in integrative medicine, supporting rehabilitation and adjunctive care in areas such as cancer, neurodegenerative conditions, nephrology and gynaecology through collaborations with modern medical hospitals. It has received several notable quality recognitions, including QCI-DL Shah National Quality Award, QAI Transition Care Center accreditation, and JCI accreditation for its Medanta AyurVAID centre—the first Ayurveda hospital globally to receive JCI accreditation. In 2026, it was honoured with the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award for Performance Excellence in Healthcare.
