About this package
This package helps individuals, couples, and families work through emotional challenges, stress, and life transitions. Skilled counsellors provide one-on-one sessions, family or joint counselling, and guidance to help people understand their feelings, manage stress, and build confidence in coping with daily life. These sessions support personal growth and emotional balance in a safe and supportive environment. This package uses gentle, culturally sensitive approaches, ensuring people feel respected and supported throughout the process. Free helpline services and workshops make guidance more accessible, allowing everyone, including those with limited resources, to benefit from support. This counselling service is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care in serious mental health situations; professional help may be needed alongside counselling.

About Parivarthan
Parivarthan (Sanskrit for Transformation) is a mental health counselling centre founded in 1995 by Saroj and Carlos Welch, renowned practitioners in counselling and psychotherapy. Operating from Bengaluru, the centre provides professional counselling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Since its inception, Parivarthan has been conducting a rigorous year-long counsellor training program, running a multilingual counselling helpline, and engaging in research to develop culturally appropriate counselling practices for India. The centre’s philosophy emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally aware, and ethical counselling. Founders Saroj and Carlos Welch established a strong foundation of professional development, supervision, and client confidentiality that continues to guide the organisation. Clients are encouraged to explore their experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space, enabling emotional healing, resilience, and personal growth.
